We love painting by hand, but traditional portrait commissions are a significant investment. PetPark uses a mixed approach — we start with your photo as a base, use generative design software to set up the artwork, then our digital artists focus on custom composition, color harmony, and painterly finishing touches that make your portrait truly unique.

You can upload your pet photo when placing your order on our website. If you order through our partner retailers, check your order confirmation email for the photo upload link, and send us a clear photo of your pet. PHOTO GUIDELINES Any photo works — casual phone snaps or even screenshots from a video reel are fine. A little blur or busy background is no problem. No people in the photo, please. For the clearest outcome: get a close-up at your pet's eye level, use natural daylight, and keep your pet alone in the frame. Eyes and snout should be fully visible unless you want a creative cropped look. 1–2 pets max per portrait. When in doubt, send the pic and we'll let you know! PHOTO TIPS If you want the clearest outcome, here are some photo tips: Don't stress if you can't follow every step perfectly! Our team carefully reviews all orders and photos as they come in. • If your photo doesn't quite fit our guidelines, we’ll reach out to help you pick a better one! • Get a nice close-up of your pet for the best results, but let us still see some background if you want. Farther away landscapes and scenes work great too, they just are different! • Snap the photo at your pet's eye level or looking directly into their eyes. • Use natural daylight - avoid using flash. • Try to keep your pet still to avoid any blur, but blur can only add to the creativity. • Make sure those cute long ears are fully in the shot unless you don't mind a cropped portrait, which can be fun too!
